What's in it

A glycerin cleansing bar built around kojic acid and turmeric, with lemon seed oil, sodium hyaluronate, vitamin C and retinol. Meant for daily washing on face and body rather than as an occasional treatment. Work it into a lather, give it half a minute on the skin, then rinse fully and stand the bar somewhere it can drain.

How to use it

  1. Patch test first

    Try the bar on a small area and leave it a day before using it properly. Stop if your skin reacts.

  2. Lather, apply, rinse

    Wet the skin. Massage for 20-30 seconds, then apply the bar evenly and massage for a further 20-30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with water.

  3. Keep the bar dry

    A dish that drains, out of the shower stream. A bar left sitting in water is gone in a fortnight.

Safety

For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Stop using if irritation occurs. Patch test on a small area before first full use. This bar contains retinol, which can make skin more sensitive to sunlight — use a sunscreen during the day. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your doctor before using any product containing retinol. Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
